Anytime I’ve gone to the Concord location it is fast and easy, and if I mobile order it’s ready when I get there. This location is not that. The mobile ordering doesn’t allow you to request a drink being made without a certain syrup or cold foam, so I just ordered the drink with cold foam and would pour it out later (dairy allergy). I ordered a dairy free/gluten free brownie in the app and when I arrived I was told they were out. And the drink wasn’t ready. What is the point of mobile ordering if it’s not ready when you get there or they don’t have what you ordered. Will only go to the concord location now.

I can’t tell you how extremely pleased I am with this Canal Coffee location! I stop by a few times a week since it’s right by my job, and every visit is a great experience. The team is always friendly, welcoming, and genuinely kind. They always seem to have a smile on their faces and maintain such a positive attitude, which makes a big difference in starting my day. It’s refreshing to see such consistent customer service. Highly recommend this location if you’re looking for great coffee and even better people!

The reason for me not putting all five stars is because me and my best friend have never been here before we rolled into the drivethru and we asked the guy in the front some questions we stated that this was our first time here and we wanted to know what do people usually get?. He told us the “signature coffees” on the top of the menu. So we then said which coffee do u like he said “signature coffee” then my friend asked “ well which one do you like out of the signature coffee?” he told us “ I don’t know they all taste the same to me” which really didn’t help us at all because we are new here and not sure what to pick…. Once my friend ordered the drink an rolled around the drive thru this Sweet beautiful short dark skin girl name “livi” I think that’s her name she was very nice very wholesome and made sure we had everything we needed that guy was on her shift that day an we did not care for the customer service that he gave us. This also happen around 10:20am

I visited Canal Coffee for the first time today, and in all honesty I will probably never be back. I ordered a Cinnabee Latte that didn't have much flavor and a classic grilled cheese that was so disappointingly limp and lifeless. I can see from a previous review that they do not prepare it properly and have been for a while, so I wouldn't expect it to change.

The coffee is usually fine, but I made the mistake of ordering the classic grilled cheese today. As you can see from the picture, there was no “grilling” involved. The picture on the menu board was massively deceptive. I’ve never had a grilled cheese that didn’t have any brown on either side of the sandwich. The cheese was melted to their credit, but it looked like it had been microwaved vs. grilled. At least give the optics of slapping some butter on the sandwich :-/ I would have gone back, but the line was long and it’s drive through only.
